When to Schedule
Common questions
When should I schedule my sprinkler blowout?
In the Treasure Valley, the ideal window is October through mid-November, before the first hard freeze (often late October). Book early—schedules fill as soon as frost is in the forecast. See our full timing guide for Boise and Meridian.
What happens if I don't winterize my sprinklers?
Water left in your irrigation lines will freeze and expand, cracking pipes, valves, and sprinkler heads. Repairs typically cost $500 or more—far more than the cost of a professional blowout.
Can I blow out my own sprinklers?
While DIY is possible, it requires a commercial-grade air compressor (shop compressors usually aren't powerful enough) and knowledge of proper technique. Improper blowout can leave water in the lines or damage components. Professional service is worth the peace of mind.
Do I need to be home for the blowout?
Not necessarily. If we can access your sprinkler system and controller from outside, you don't need to be present. We'll let you know when we're scheduled and send confirmation when the job is complete.
Is blowout included in the lawn care subscription?
Yes. Our Complete lawn care subscription (currently from $249/mo promo pricing) includes sprinkler blowout in fall and startup in spring, plus weekly mowing and fertilization—so you're not booking a one-off every October.
Which cities do you serve?
Boise, Meridian, Nampa, Eagle, Caldwell, Garden City, Star, Kuna, and Middleton—Ada and Canyon counties across the Treasure Valley.
